Reliable Sewer Camera Inspection
A sewer inspection is specifically tailored to compliment the home inspection process. As a new homeowner living in Colorado, Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, Denver, or the Pueblo region you do not want to move into a home that has unknown and potentially costly problems. With a sewer camera inspection, we use a video camera to view the inside of your sewer pipe to determine its condition and pinpoint any problems.
The equipment that makes this possible is a flexible rod connected to a high-resolution camera which transmits video from the sewer to a monitor above. The videos and pictures of the sewer line are then prepared in a report that will be given to you along with the rest of your home inspection. A sewer inspection is very important in influencing the decision to purchase a home and can easily be scheduled as part of your home inspection.

Clay and cast-iron piping was used extensively up into the 1980’s for sewer lines. From then on, most piping was converted over to PVC. The older rigid clay and cast-iron pipes have a greater risk of breaks, cracks, offsets and root intrusion at the joints. A Sewer Pros Inspection is helpful for any new home owner but is especially important for those who are looking to buy a house built prior to 2000 and if you have large trees or bushes in the yard.
Sewer Inspection Cost
The sewer inspection cost is normally $300, however, if done during the home inspection the price is $150. This small investment in a sewer scan could save you tens of thousands of dollars in hidden costs.
